Port and Rail Interaction

Many rail freight operations have been killed off by the poor planning and execution of the rail freight segment. In all modern port environments the one word that is absolutely key is – speed. Freight must be moved as speedily as possible and this applies to the rail segment, including moving the required freight to the train in as few minutes (or seconds) as possible. Every second does matter.

We have the capability to review most rail operations in ports with a view to suggesting a raft of improvements that will help you work toward an optimum interaction between port and rail freight. In the case of wholly new ports and terminals options can be developed and ranked including progressive capacity upgrades.
